Kids Modern Show

I exhibited at my first show to the public on Sunday. A beautiful setting in Dulwich College where the college hall itself formed the backdrops for our stands.
Unfortunately due to the weather (an absolutely gorgeous day with no clouds in the sky) and the grounding of flights due to the Icelandic volcano meant that numbers were down and so we did not make many sales. However we received a good reaction to the range and lots of people took my card, and so hopefully they will look at my site and buy online.

It was a privilege to be exhibiting with so many excellent people and I enjoyed talking to my fellow neighbours, Winters Moon, http://www.wintersmoon.co.uk with their handmade, recycled and vintage products (who also had used my giftwrap to wallpaper some of their vintage dolls houses). I got very inspired with their products and could not resist buying a few vintage books to use as inspiration for my next set of designs.

Roddy and Ginger-http://www.roddyandginger.co.uk. Virginia screen prints all her designs and makes them into various products like cushions, prints, and purses, really lovely designs.

Sally Nencini, http://www.sallynencini.com makes gorgeous knitted products including cushions, bags with pockets for your pens and pencils and commission only embroidered upholstery furniture. A really talented bunch!
