I have wanted to visit the Zandra Rhodes Museum for a long time and finally got my chance on Saturday.
Situated in the heart of fashionable Bermondsey Village, in a fantastic building designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta this really was an inspiring area to visit.
The museum is currently showing a Sanderson exhibition. This was really interesting and I particularly liked looking at the old design books showing the various designs they held. I admired the technical expertise of producing the chintzy rose designs on display but I am not particularly a fan of them.
What I really loved was a design called Pandorama by Robert Holmes in 1864- I love children's vintage designs and I love the feel of this one showing various animals and carriages from the circus.
