While researching for my new collection for next year I came across an inspirational fashion designer called Erica Tanov http://ericatanov.com who has gorgeous knitwear and prints and a really lovely website, very simple with lots of white backgrounds and beautiful pictures.
She is originally from California and moved to New York in 1985. Now based in the San Francisco area, design for her is the process of discovering, or rediscovering, the essential nature of things. I really like this knitted dress and I am so inspired that I might introduce a few knitwear pieces to my collection.
It looks like she is not in the UK yet? What a shame. I am sure it is only a matter of time.
