A snowy December

This is certainly the coldest December I can remember and although it has ruined plans of seeing members of our family it certainly feels very festive.

Our village looks stunning and out of a picture postcard with thatched roofs covered with snow.

Chinese Lanterns



It is such a beautiful sight seeing a procession of chinese lanterns going off as we witnessed on a Thailand beach on New Years Eve several years ago. It was such a clear night with amazing light last evening that a visiting theatre friend brought some lanterns for us to light and set off.
