Japanese prints

We have witnessed some terrible events around the world in the past few weeks including the earthquake and tsunami in Japan and all the destruction that led on from this. My thoughts are with the Japanese.
I have always been fascinated by this amazing country and hope to visit there one day.

I love Japanese fabrics and colours, not just the traditional patterns but the naive childrens' prints that are being produced today.

One inspirational company "Kokka" has produced some gorgeous fabric. See pictures below. These are some of my favourite fabrics.

I hope Japan rebuilds itself quickly and I look forward to seeing more inspirational fabrics and products in the near future.
