Summer Holidays

The improvement in the weather for this summer holiday has really helped and enabled us to do a spot of camping which always goes down well with the children.

We stayed at a lovely camp site just outside Cirencester several weekends ago. Look at http://www.organicfarmshop.co.uk. They have an amazing organic shop with local meats and a large vegetarian cafe. They also are selling lots of lovely Indian merchandise, including old painted furniture.
The camp site is very basic but because of this it rarely gets crowded and it was great to have so much space between tents and to be able to have a proper fire.

AN eyecatching Indian cart at the front of the shop selling flowers.

Carved wood sculpts in the woods by the camp site.

I met my lovely new niece the other week and couldn't resist showing this picture with my retro folk flower fabric in the background! Product placement already! Awhhh! Cute!!

We also went camping in Kent to celebrate a friend's birthday. Their friend is a farmer and very kindly let us use several of their fields by some lakes to camp and party for the weekend. A great venue and it really felt like a mini festival.
Lots of dressing up, good music and food along with stunning weather.
