Liberty's has always been an inspirational shop to wander around and as they have recently opened a new Children's area I had to check this out.
I was rather disappointed. Not really anything that different. I felt they were really playing it safe.
However I loved this display in 1 of the windows- some lovely prints.
Faberge Eggs
Liberty's also had on display 1 of many giant decorated eggs that are dotted all around London to find in the run up to Easter.
I loved this cat print.
I found this peacock feather decorated egg just off Regent Street.
Rory Debner
I was excited to spot the gorgoeus range of tiles and plates in Liberty's by Rory Dobner, the international artist. I love his detailed black and white pen and ink decorative letters in particular. I undertook a commission of decorative CAP letters several years ago and so I can really appreciate the amount of work that must go into each one of his letters.

Anthropology
This store is always a must to look at their exciting ideas for visual merchandising.
I spotted this faded wall featuring damask patterning which is really reminiscent of some of my old furnishing textile designs where I was fascinated by layers and worn away aged fabrics. I also love the vividness of the colours.
Butterflies are always very popular prints and I relaly love this simple repeating print spotted in Zara.
